holds a BA in Creative Writing from The New School and a Certificate in Children's Book Writing and Illustration from UC San Diego. She has taken classes at Upright Citizens Brigade and participates in weekly Creative Writing Workshops through Bad Habits Writing Academy.
As a visual and narrative storyteller, Annie’s written work is observational, introspective, and humorous. At present, she is writing/illustrating children's picture books, editing, and accepting project-based work aimed at amplifying the voices and stories our world needs today.
With over a decade of experience in youth arts education—working at a range of camps, galleries, and museums—Annie has developed a strong belief that the arts should be accessible to people of all identities and she continues to advocate for equality in the arts as a whole in everything she pursues.
