If you have a children’s book, novel, poetry collection, or gift book, I’m delighted to help you hone your manuscript prior to publication. Explore the options below to learn about the variety of services I offer to support emerging and seasoned writers.
Full manuscript editing:
To account for differences in content, children’s book proposals are offered at flat rates while rates for books in the adult market are calculated based on word count. Rates include up to two rounds of revisions.
To begin, we will schedule a complimentary 30-minute introductory call to discuss your expectations, project, and goals. If you’d like to move forward at this stage, I will begin the editorial process.
For all projects, in the first round of revisions, you will receive a comprehensive reader report (including a plot summary and feedback on pacing, character development, dialogue, and any plot holes or inconsistencies) as well as track changes and comments outlining any grammatical or general edits.
Once this first round of revisions is complete, you can take as much time as you'd like to review and incorporate the feedback. At this time, we can schedule a second 30-minute call to go over any questions. This call is all about brainstorming and ensuring you feel energized and joyful about working on your next draft.
If desired, once you’ve incorporated edits as you see fit, I can review the manuscript again in its entirety to flag any remaining overarching or grammatical issues using track changes and comments.
